A single rose in memory of David Michael Barkway…. one of the lost at 9/11. He was a rising star in the Toronto financial world, but David Barkway, a managing director of BMO Nesbitt Burns. He was visiting a bond trading firm (Cantor Fitzgerald) on the 105th floor of the trade centre’s north tower when a hijacked Boeing 767 carrying 92 people and 75,000 litres of fuel hit the building. His wife of four years, then five months pregnant at the time with their second child. The little baby boy was named David after his father – September 2013
