Favourites??????!!! I would call it passions.
“Just go. It’s bad manners to keep your passport waiting.”
My passport …. that has taken me to the most fantastic places, given me magical adventures, great experiences and awesome meetings.
“I take the picture twice.
First with my heart then camera.”
Oscar, my beloved camera (The PowerShot SX50 HS) – that has been in my life since 2014 and we have a great relationship, we love the most objects, but we don’t always agree.
“Ice cream cravings are not to be taken lightly.
Betsy Cañas Garmon
Ice cream … any time, any place … any day.
‘To wear dreams on one’s feet is to begin
to give a reality to one’s dreams.’
Shoes … shoes and more shoes. Not that I’m able to spend a day in this pair … but they will always be my favourite. Are suffering from Polyneuropathy since 10 years back now and it isn’t getting any better. Every day now it means that all shoes mean discomfort and gives pain, but some less than others. I wish I had wings, I really do. I hope I will be able to wear this pair again one evening. I guess I have about 70 pairs of shoes.
‘I’ve got two places I like to be.
Portugal is one.”
Porto, thanks to my blogging sister and good friend Suzanne@the travelbunny that wrote about her visit to this fabulous city in 2016. When I read her post I just knew that Porto I just had to visit, so I visited a year later and this September will be my 3rd visit. Just love everything about it. It was more or less love at first sight.
“Flowers don’t tell, they show.”
Flowers …. flowers … flowers. Do I need to say more?
Peonies are one of my favourites, bring them on so long I’m around.
“Always do sober what you said you’d do drunk.
That will teach you to keep your mouth shut.”
Mojito!!!!!! The last day of summer in Sopot, Poland – September 2018
“I thought without a doubt I would be a fisherman.”
And of course the music … Michael Bublé (one of my 10 top favourites) at Ericsson Globe in Stockholm – February 2014
