- Tell us about your first bicycle or car?
I have never owned a car … and after driving my stepfather’s car and ending up in a server accident – I never wanted to get behind the wheel again, because if I don’t drive I can’t cause anyone harm. My mum got badly injured but recovered well.
Bikes I had many, but I can’t recall anything about my first bike, except I fall over far too many times and constantly bleeding. The last bike I bought in 2015 and it had passed 23 years since I was on a bike last time, so I was very nervous and wobbled for about 15 min. It’s red.
- What fictional world or place would you like to visit?
Downton Abbey, because I just love the setting … and the fashion.

- If you could have someone follow you around all the time, like a personal assistant, what would you have them do?
I don’t think I would like to have a PA, but I would like to have somebody to do the cleaning of my apartment twice per month. Strongly thinking about it.

- What did you appreciate or what made you smile this past week?
That I got a chance to visit my friend, Leif .. that has been struggling with lung cancer for 18 months. He passed away peacefully 3 days after my visit. So thankful for the hours I got with him and the Danish pastries we shared.
Leif was a silent hero in my book, he lived through his wife’s struggle with cancer … Inger left us in July 2016. And 6 months later he found out about his own.

The most wonderful and very special people … and they became a huge part of my mum’s life and it was through my mum they came into my life. Inger was like a second daughter to her.
He is a totally free spirit now, free from tubes and pain. And as their son, Jonas said … See you in the future!!!! Both of you and mum too of course!

Leif, you will keep my heart warm forever!!!!
So glad you got to see your friend before he went……
Yes, it was faith. Have been thinking about it for such a long time. Because he lived in Simrishamn. So happy over that I got a chance to see him.
What a nice tribute to Lief. He will remain with you always.
Thank you, Cee …. yes, he will help Inger and mum to keep my heart warm.
Peace to your beautiful friend Lief.
My first ‘own’ bicycle was a bike my father and his friend restored for me. It was metallic blue. I loved it. 🙂
Hi there, Colleen! Thinking of it .. I think I also inherited my first bike too. It was dark red.
We would have made a lovely pair riding side by side. 🙂
I’m sure I will struggle to keep up with you. *smile
We would ride wonderfully together, you would show me the sites. 🙂
Landskrona and the areas around don’t have any hills … totally flat. That is why Landskrona has most bikes in Sweden. Your are welcome whenever you feel for it. You don’t have to bring your bike … plenty to rent here. *smile
What a lovely invitation Viveka. If it is ever possible I will take you up on that 🙂
My pleasure, Colleen!!!!
