i love my computer because …

Personal I had no computer training what so every – I learned to write on a typewriter in the middle of the 60’s and of course that helps me with the speed, but everything else I have learned through listen, looking and asking million questions plus subscribing on a PC magazine.

This is tools that I have picked up through watching and asking questions to our IT guys in UK – Stena Line has their own IT program development and very good technicians.

Here are 3 FREE programs that you shouldn’t be without.

1.  Ad-Aware – free download and it’s a security program that you can run beside your own – our IT guys used it all the time and it really goes on the deep and clears out every “evil” you have on your PC/laptop. Run full scan and if  it pick up somethings – remove and run again. This I do once a week. Used this program for over 10 years now. A Swedish program, but are multi languages speaking.

2. Ccleaner – also a free down load and it’s a cleaning program of history, cookies and all the crap that slows down your PC/laptop. Don’t change any setting – just use it as it downloads and it will not remove anything else then what shouldn’t be on your PC/laptop. First you analyze – then you clean, but close down all search engines before – you run clean until the window is completely free from any information. This you do once a week. This program I have used for 10 years too. Think it comes in over 40 languages in total – so no excuses for not having it.

3. Flash Player Global Setting Manager – a program that you don’t have to download – what comes up on your screen is the program. When we visit blog’s with a load of visuals the Flash Player collect that information and in the end the memory of the Flash Player get full and we get problems with seeing video and pictures on our screen. Here you only go to the second last tap – the one with a single file – click on it and what comes up you can delete – all of it. Nothing that will change anything on your settings. This I do 2-3 times per week because I play games on FB. 

The best thing about the programs they don’t cost us anything and they are necessary and help ours PC/laptop to feel good. Let yours be one of them … *smile – show your PC/laptop some tender, love and care.
