Just back from my trip to NYC – loads of lines and pattern there of different kinds. But I have decided to only go for one photo. My entry is taken on Grand Central Station from one of the bakeries’ display window.
“Love is like a good cake; you never know when it’s coming, but you’d better eat it when it does!” C. JoyBell C.
Skye ….thanks, you are so right … and they are pretty too – I want to give the challenge little more softer lines … Thanks again and have a great weekend.
That is the VERY best thing although I will drink some now!
*laughing … be my guest. *smile
I did . And petals do fall from your lips. You are very creative you know??
Thank you so much .. for being such a fantastic support to me. As a chef I have to have some creative veins.
Yes I was/am married to one ! A rare breed you are !
Pleased to meet you!
Kathryn
Kathryn, lucky you … married to chef!! I would have loved to meet a man that could cook. *smile .. but we probably would have killed each other.
Please to meet you too … *smile
Yes with the endlessly sharpened knives !!!!!!!
My knifes … not that sharp anymore … doesn’t matter anymore. *smile
A steel ? You do not have a steel ? Of course you must!
Yes, a diamond one … even *smile …
Yes so why are your knives dull dear one?
Because … I’m a pensioner .. and I cook only for myself most days. But tomorrow I will sharpen them. *smile
LUCKY YOU! I want to be a pensioner !!!!!!!
I stopped working at 61 – and I don’t regret it … don’t miss work, but I miss the everyday social life, the interaction with colleague, staff and customers.
You know I had you pegged for about 28-35 to be honest.
WOW! You are a young soul!
I am 56 and retirement is not in my future. Not by choice : )
I have a very solitary position and looking for a new one as I need human interaction as well.
Thank you so much … I would love to be 40 with my 30 year old body and my 65 years of knowledge. *laughing.
56 still a spring chicken *smile – I remember very well when I was in your age … I liked very much.
I’m sure its …. I took the photo before breakfast so it was never on my mind to buy a slice, but I really like how the photo came out. Maybe something for you to try out??? Have a pleasant weekend.
Love that word … cake architecure!!!! I’m not sure there is cake designers as such … but I think there is very creative bakers. *smile – I really like this photo – and for being taken through a window it came out quite good. My little camera do magic at times *smile
Thank you so much … I never looked at the photo with lines … looked at it as I felt proud that I didn’t buy one of them.*laughing
It’s a stunning cake. How is your brother in law doing ????
Haha! In that case, I fully understand! Anything can go awry in a morning started too soon 🙂
Where looking for breakfast … but not to be find anywhere on Grand Central, if you don’t toke a take away. At least not what we could see. Fantastic place and so clean.
