This week Frank played it straight into my heart and files … love cats.
When I lived in Gothenburg I had two cats, Whiskey & Zoda … Whiskey, a beautiful black male just decided to move in with me, but he never liked me … my finance was his favourite – so I added little tabby, Zoda, to the family and what show it became of that. I would love to have a cat again, but with me travelling as I do … I have to reluctantly refrain.
This is some beauties I met around the world.

I LOVE kitties! I lost my last one almost a year ago and want another so badly. I retire in a few years, then I’ll get another or 2 – sweet babies.
Pam, so sorry for your lost – it’s tough to lose a pet. I was thinking of getting 2 kittens when I retired, but I love my travelling, it’s not fair on them. I love dogs too.
We have a pup too. We have house sitters who stay with him when we are gone. He loves the sitters!
Love dogs … and especially pup. I like the read of a house sitter – great arrangement, we don’t have that in Sweden. I think it’s a fantastic idea that somebody lives in your home while your away. What “band is” he??? – Envy – very envy. *smile
He is a labradoodle! Although Sean jokes with people and says he is a rare italian logoto. I always thought that was a joke he made up until I learned Ann Christine’s dogs are of this breed!
Pam, A-C’s dog are so lovely!! They are so very look alike … those two breeds, I wouldn’t be able to see the difference. We had a dog for 22 years, he was such a character – his name was “LIttleman” – the thing with having a dog is that you get some exercise too in ALL weathers, which is very good … but with my problems with the feet – I’m hesitant. I have wanted a West Highland terrier since I was a kid. A pet is so good for us and I really miss one.
Pets are amazing! 22 years? Wow, lucky you 😊💕
It was pretty heartbreaking to lose her, she was 18.7 years old! And diabetic to boot. She passed in my arms which made me really happy. Love her so much!
Nearly 19 years … that is a fantastic age for a cat. Whiskey’s liver gave up on him … and he died at home. Zoda escaped and hidden in the car engine and when the driver understood there was something and open the hood – she was so scared and jumped out before he could catch her …. she was never found. So sad … she was such a lovely soul.
I have three little ones–Parker, Piper and Pumpkin. There is just something about cats….great photos, Viveka.
Loisa, I’m very envy on you …. love their names…. especially Pumpkin. Thank you so much – cats are a great objects. *smile
Marvelous photos. The last one is such a cutie!
Thank you so much, Anne … my Oscar (my Canon Powershot SX50HD ) loves cats too. There was three cute kitten and their mum that wanted to play with my camera in Istanbul. Very cute kitten
Sooo much loveliness, Viveka!
You are soooo right! *smile I booked my flight to Poznan yesterday flying LOT, not any difference in prices compare with SAS (1900) – but I want to stay my 5 nights and SAS doesn’t fly on Tuesdays. Was at the eye clinic yesterday and big problems with my right eye, I arrived at 10 am and I left the hospital at 4pm. Going back today after lunch. The pressure in my right eye is extremely high. and it doesn’t go down – they tried everything even laser. So when I came home – I just booked, so tired of all health problems.
Oh my, what is happening? I hope it has calmed down by now – eyes are important! We will start looking for a flight as well – what airport did you book to?
Thank you … has come calm down, but a bit under the ice – a little too much drama under the 3 days. I booked to Poznan – SAS fly direct for the days you want to be there. LOT means you have to change in Warsaw. There is a bus from Berlin Bustation to Poznan and it takes 3,5 hours, and to get to the bus you need to change public transport ones. For me not worth it. No flights from Sturup. There is a bus from Warsaw airport, but it takes 6,5 -7 hours.
Ah, good to hear it is calming down – hope they got your pressure down too. That Berlin bus is enough for us – 3,5 hours. I will let Lars go looking for the flight…
Yes, but you have to get to the bus station too – that means changing ones .. that will add another 30 min to the bus. You have to go to Beusselstraße and change to the S-train to Messe Nord/ICC (Witzleben). If you fly into Schönefeld airport it looks like there are direct buses (Flexibus) to Poznan. 3,5 hours journey.
Thanks for the research, dear Viveka!
My pleasure. Nice talking to you by the way and to get a good laughter.
You are an astonishing woman – but that you already know, Viveka!
