    • Colleen, I was thinking of you and Mr Brown the whole time I did this post … that’s why it took so long time for me to publish it. *laughing .. I knew that you would love it. As cloud for this post .. this song just had to BE!!! Thanks for you happy comment.

      • It’s was a pleasure, Colleen … to glad you has taken is yours. I love the song too, but ages since I listen to it. Queen, brilliant band … and Freddie, left us far too early.

    • Andy, doesn’t matter if loads of people on bikes – the smog is still there, but a little less … still too many cars around. And I tell you cyclists create more rage than car drivers, because they don’t thing traffic rules are for them .. terrible, they just do as the want .. not even stopping for red light. As pedestrian you will dangerously over here .. because we share paths. Very nice way to get around .. good for body and soul when you’re the countryside.

      • Shoot, even there you got bikers running lights huh? I see that here all the time, Like I would stop at the red light in my car and a guy on a bike will keep rolling, WITH cars moving because he knows people will stop to let him through. Wha?

      • Yes, they make up the rules as they bike along … and some has serious speed – look at all those delivery bikes in the big cites … I don’t understand how they survive. In Denmark are they a lot better than over here. So more polite against everyone else and they stop at red light – I’m sure they do that in Germany too … they don’t even walk against red light. *smile Well trained.

  1. That’s a great collection of shots on the theme. It almost makes me want to buy a bike! I actually used to enjoy cycling until I moved to the city and then I found it too intimidating and stressful. I haven’t been on a bike, therefore, for twenty years. I would probably die if I tried.

    • I haven’t been on a bike since I left Sweden in 1989 – and my new bike was damage in our basement fire last year .. never been on it. Over here cyclists so well looked after with special path even in the big cities. More important than us pedestrians those days. I tell if once learn how to cycle – you will always be able too. Just jump and paddle away. *smile

  2. Great gallery, Viveka – gorgeous in fact! I love bicycles and looking at the others…Fascinating facts and music loveable.
I have invited you for a challenge if you feel up to it…?
    A 5 days B&W…!

  3.

    The rules are simple:

    1) post a black & white photo daily for 5 days

    2) Invite someone different to participate each day. (because no one wants to play alone!)

For Day 2, I am happy to invite  Viveka at https://mygulitypleasures.wordpress.com/

She is the most colourful lady I know – I wonder what she would come up with in black and white?

No strings attached if you don’t feel up to it.

      • Ah, and I was so looking forward to what you would do with it! But it’s very much OK – I almost expected this answer (but hoping for another…) Have a great week!

      • I have some B&W from another challenge, but it’s also the problem to hand over the challenge to a new blogger for 5 days – something that I don’t really like, a bit like the awards.
So sorry, A-C! It puts people under pressure. And I have already turned down this challenge from another blogger.

      • Nobody should feel that! I’m sorry if you misunderstood my intentions. It was only for the fun of it!
Total respect – naturally. I don’t want to feel pressure either, so i would have turned it down too.
        I’m a newbie on B&W but I thought I would give it a try (although I prefer colour)…

      • A-C, your intentions are fine – and believe me that I’m honored to be asked … but I can’t put my heart into it. I’m no way under pressure to be asked. Understand what you mean by fun. So know worries over here in Landskrona.
I will come over and check your entries tomorrow.
I’m a bit stressed, because I been working on my trip – suddenly got a travel mate – wonderful .. but I had to book, cancel and change bookings, only 5 weeks before departure during the busiest time in Japan. A-C, just now I don’t know if I’m coming or going. *laughing.

      • Well, now my answer has been sent at least three times…! It showed a red sign that it couldn’t be sent – so I sent it again…and again…WELL, it finally landed in your place, there’s no mistake about it. Funny. This has happened to me before, and I guess that person too had to endure my tripple (new word?). I can see you took great trouble and had much to do with rebooking for the trip. Good thing you are a pro though!

      • A-C, you’re a true gem … and sweat pea – I don’t if I can call myself a pro … because it was true panic attack at the start. Thanks for your high thoughts regarding my action control *smile
I thought it was something wrong when I got same comment more than once. Technical problems, the story of my life.

    • Dia, if I was a queen … I think I would have enjoyed my bike. *smile
In all honesty I didn’t think I had any blogging times.
I have been very busy with my Japan trip. My friend Nancy wanted to join me – so I had to start all over nearly. Now it’s all done, but my “sorry ass” had a couple of tough days. So sore. *smile.
