Cee, Happy New Year. !!
Something must have happen with my first replays on this post. So sorry that you haven’t heard from me.
Thank you so much for the always so kind support … water is an easy subject … it comes in many forms. Looking forward to your next challenge … very intresting.
Once again … all the best for 2021.
Love the photos, Vivi, especially the fountain and the last one. Here in Arizona we very much appreciate water and yesterday had our first rain in over 110 days!!
Happy New Year, Janet … so sorry that I have missed your message.
I thought I gone through all the replays.
Yes, the Bellagio fountain in Las Vegas, one of the most famous those days … but I think Dubai Fountain gives it a good run for its money.
110 days without rain … wow, how do you survive that????. I think we had 110 days of rain lately. I wish you only the Best for 2021. Viveka
And thanks for your Christmas e-mail greeting. I can’t recall if I replied to it, although I meant to many times. Sigh. At any rate, all the best things to you in 2021!
A pleasure! Thank … you so much!!! It can only get better because it can get much worst.
One of Australia’s most beloved poets Dorothea McKellar wrote in her famous “My Country’ of this land being one of ‘droughts and flooding rains’ . . . you are posting your beautiful water photos just at the right time – after so many years of disastrous droughts and bushfires the current :La Nina weather system here is bringing disastrous floods for over four days to coastal areas and many river systems north of me . . . daily totals of more than 200 mms . . . that IS Australia . . . thank you for your far gentler photos . . . love the fountain one . . . hope you reasonable;e . . .
Eha, I heard about the wildfires … that they have started again. I don’t understand how your people deal with it year after year. Rebuild their homes … and their lives time after time. Just like in California. The flooding all over wold … and the hurricanes. Mother World is very angry with us … and nature is now kicking back = COVID-19, all the epidemics through the years are coming from animals. That should tell us not to mess about the wild animals and capture for different reasons. Let nature be!!!!
Mrs Badley … your Christmas Card arrived today, thank you so .. hopefully, I will get my electronic one by mail .. I think I sent it yesterday. Sue got hers. We haven’t had one hour of sunshine this month so fare. Shades of grey .. day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day after ….. Thanks, my eye is getting .. the rest is stable, no Porto … going to rebook it for Tbilisi in October next year instead.

Oh bless! I found it in my junk!!!!! How very dare it 😖😖😖 Sad times here. Death of a good friend through Covid and my stepbrother, suddenly of a heart attack, in the UK. 2 funerals on Thursday. One on Zoom! Counting my blessings 💕💕💕
My Darling, so sorry to read about your loss, Terrible, a heart attack .. is easier to understand and accept … but to lose somebody through COVID-19????!!! Lifes isn’t fair. So sorry also that you aren’t able to attend the funerals, the final goodbye is very important. I never thought it would be that important until my mum passed away. My heart reaches out to you!!! ALongWiviHug.
Thanks hon. I’m not looking forward to tomorrow. I’ve been liaising with Polish family for Tony’s funeral in the morning, then I have an invitation to the church here in Tavira at 1.30. It’s a 2 hour service and I don’t want to be in a confined space for that long. He was Norwegian so I don’t know how it will differ from the UK service but I’m advised to bring a single flower. I doubt I will stay for the whole thing. It will end with a heavy drinking party and I already did that for Terje on Friday. What a strange life this is. The hugs are much appreciated 🤗💕💕💕
My dearest, I hope you manage to get through yesterday … and landed with some peace on the other side today. I had a boyfriend, Norwegian … by name Terje. He always said that I was a sweet girl and I thought he said that because he liked me – BUT sweet in Norwegian means strange in Swedish. I can’t recall his surname. Tall dark handsome … with glasses. Terje is a very common name in Norway. Here comes more ThinkingOfYouHugs.
The afternoon was joyful. Not a religious service. They played Abba and A-Ha and talked about Terje. But still, enough is enough and we cannot bring him back.
On Sunday we have a game of cro4uet in his memory, wearing silly hats. The things we do to try and make his widow happy 😦 Today I had Portuguese lesson, lunch with our neighbour and a carol concert in Faro this evening. Home tomorrow and peaceful. Lots of hugs back at you. Also booked Easter flights to UK. 🙂 🙂

Fabulous photos Vivi. Sitting under a big dark cloud and wondering if I should take the washing in before I go out. 🤣💕 Hope you’re well, darlin!
