So lovely to see these photos and be able to say hello to you in wintery Sweden . I fully agree that looking at such images can make us regard actual life around us more accurately . . . *smile* Not having ever been a ‘morning person’ its beauties are an unknown entity to me . . . but give me twilight . . . it is a balm to my soul . . .. .Had never thought in terms of a sunset needing cloudy skies to be really effective . . . I can see it being true . . . but as ‘Eha’ means the ‘last light of the day’ I’ll take it the way it comes . . . . be well . . .
Good Morning, we had a little bit of snow the other evening, but it didn’t stay, the ground was too wet. I really hope that we will get some white winter this year, haven’t had a serious winter since 2010-11. I want seasons to be as they should be. Don’t want a green winter. I’m both morning and night person!!! Now as a pensioner I can take an afternoon nap. Thank you so much for your kind comment.
Eha, you are wise as an owl. *smile We hadn’t have one day of sunshine yet in December. It’s going to be 31 shades of grey. Hate it … to have all the lamps on the full day. No snow … only grey. So not much of a winter yet up here and I doubt we will get any here in down in the South. Up in the North, they have got quite a lot of snow.
I would love to live where I could enjoy a full view of sunrise and sunset. The moon .. I see without problems. Love the moon. *smile As a child I always talked to the moon, so my mum said that I’m full of moonlight. Such a lovely comment.
Lovely selection, Vivi! A cloudy sky is, indeed, necessary for a great sunset! Some of the best sunsets I have seen have been from a ship….something about that endless horizon
Viveka, your pictures are fabulous as always, but the super moon with all the clouds has such detail and color. I’ve never taken a moon picture that I love. But I love yours. Have a great holiday season in spite of COVID. Take care and be safe. 🙂
Marsha, I think we are in love with the moon … only wish we kept it alone. My mum always said that I’m full of moonlight because as a child I talked to the moon. No trip to Portugal … too much going on everywhere … so I have to rebook for next year. Next year is going to be a lot better, but I don’t think it will be like it was before COVID-19 … I hope we will make things better when we start all over again. Thank yu so much for your lovely comment. Be careful out there. Please!!!
You be careful, too Viv. We need to travel again! 🙂 I don’t think I talked to the moon as a child. It was a fuzzy ball in the sky. I love it as an adult. 🙂
Marsha, we need to travel … travel a lot … loads of flight tickets hanging in the air with different airlines. 2021 is going to be busy. Bring it on – give the 2 shots … and I will be up there. *smile
I was so fascinated by the moon as a child. Sitting on the window sill talking about everything – it did up to 12-14 years of age. My best friend, always listing … never talked back *laughing
Mr. Moon never was much of a talker, but was terribly romantic! 🙂
Marsha, not … he has and you say, he is a very romantic man … but that is something I noticed as an adult. *smile
That’s good. I’d hate to think he was getting romantic with children. Oops – you were a child – puppy love?
Marsha, I think that children have a romantic streak. Yes, puppy love … *smile
LOL I would have been more in love with him if I could have seen him better. I was so blind as a kid. 🙂

I really like your Dorothea Lange quote. I so adore her and her photography.
I also adore your colorful sunrise/sets too 😀
Cee, thank you so much … I know very little about Dorothea, but I’m going to check out her art now. Be careful out there. *smile
