lens-artists photo challenge #86; change your perspective

… change your perspective???!!!

Thank you, Patti …. you just played this weeks theme into my files.

You who know me … know also that I very often go into details and try to capture them from a different angle. Here is some of them.

“Painting is just another way of keeping a diary.”
 Pablo Picasso

“Life is like a ferris wheel. One minute you’re on top,
the next you’re at the bottom.
Just stay in your seat, enjoy the ride,
and hang on until you reach the top again.”
Susan Gale

“Sky above, sand below, peace within.”

“Romance is the icing, but love is the cake.”

“An airport is a place where you go through hell
to reach your alleged paradise.”

  1. Gorgeous, as always, Viveka! Love that wedding portrait too – and that oil! To get the whole picture, you have to take some steps away from it…

    • Thanks, John … who has have done the painting I’m not sure – it could be Munch or Monet. The image is from Vienna and the Albertina Museum.

  2. Wonderful perspectives Viveka – the sand shot is my favorite along with its perfect quote although the ferris wheel and its quote were a very close second. Loved them all

  3. Like the ferris wheel. I wouldn’t have known it to be a ferris wheel without the caption (meant as a compliment). Your airport quote-true that.

    • Paulie, thank you so much … I take it as a compliment. *smile I love the airport quote, so spot on. Every time I fly I think about it. Thanks for the visit.
