Didn’t Mae West know a thing or two? 🙂 🙂 Love the parasols! Got your postcard, Vivi. Thanks so much! I didn’t even glance at postcard stands as I zipped around Seville. Sorry! I bet there were some beauties. April/early May isn’t usually too hot in Tavira. I’m starting to think about next year. You’re always miles ahead of me! I need to be around here for visits but also do some traveling myself.
Seville … a truly beautiful city. I was there in September and it was too hot for comfort. My friend Anna Liisa’s nephew has bought a big penthouse and moved to somewhere in your neighborhood because he flies into Faro. And he was two guestrooms ensuite … so we will be down soon visiting him. He gave up everything here in Sweden over a couple of months … he is a lawyer and single. Just moved. Good for him.
That’s convenient! 🙂 🙂 A lot of Scandinavians have moved for the tax breaks, and the weather. But not today- it’s pouring! 🙂
I will find out where he lives. Ulf moved because he was sick and tired of the pressure from work and he also has problems with his knees. He is going to buy a motorbike and explore Portugal. Porto is first on his list. *smile Here it has been grey, grey … and grey … and wet for days now. No sun yet on the weather map. The whole weekend is going to be the same. Just so dark, have to have the lamps on the whole day. Hate it.
Yay! A biker! 🙂 🙂 We’ve waited a long time for this rain so no complaints. The reservoirs are near empty. Northern Europe has had our share. And don’t mention poor Australia and the wild fires. Horror story! We were supposed to be leading a hill walk today but we’ve had to cancel. It’s brightening already and should be nice again at the weekend. We’re having lunch with some of the walkers, then Portuguese class (so not too much wine 🙂 ) and a trip to theatre in Olháo this evening, to watch flamenco, funnily enough. I’d better go in the shower 🙂 Take care, hon xx
Yes, it has been very warm in most parts of Southern Europe this year, Istanbul had +22 a couple of weeks ago. Far from normal. Yes, both Australia and California had their fair share of bush and wildfires.
I’m sure you had a fantastic lunch and evening. Why not take up the flamenco dancing???? HaveALovelyWeekendHug.
You have some marvelous reds for us this week. Thanks for playing along 😀
Thanks, Cee … thanks for keeping the game alive. *smile
