Our national supermarket in Ullared, Gekå. This is some of their 10 000 shopping baskets. I’m visiting once per year and my next visit is next month. – February 2012

In 2018, Gekås was visited by 4.8 million customers (average of 13.150 per day) and together they traded for SEK 5.4 billion/ 505 million Euros/ 555 million dollars/445 million sterling. ONE shop!!!

320,000 bags of Ahlgren’s cars per year. (candy)
100,000 freezer bags a day.
25,000 yellow shop bags (SEK 1 / pcs) every day.
100 million muffin molds per year.
1,700,000 bottles of shampoo a year.
4.6 million toys in one year (every tenth toy purchased in Sweden is sold at Gekås).
