When I read what topic Frank has given us this week, overhead … my thoughts went straight to one of the heavest posts in my yearly budget 10 years ago.
Me enjoying lunch under one of the many orange trees at CAFÉ MAJORELLE, located in the stunningly beautiful Jardin Majorelle. The garden was created by the French Orientalist artist, Jacques Majorelle over almost forty years, starting in 1923. In the 1980s, the property was purchased by the fashion designers, Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé who worked to restore it. A true oasis in a totally mad and wonderful city of Marrakech. (December 2016)
Hundreds and hundreds of hot air balloons at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta (UK), a fantastic event – which happens this week. (August 2015)
Pretty street lamp … brighten my walk along Strøget in Copenhagen, which is one of the longest pedestrian shopping streets in Europe, 1.1 km long. (Febuary 2019)
A very organized laundry line in the Old Tbilisi town – color coordinated too. Just brilliant (December 2018)
