I spent most of my adult life at sea …. and I have also lived my adult life at places where the ocean docks.
For me there is only one ocean … it only that it is given different names depending on where it lays and docks.

Biarritz, France … sandy beaches, black rocks, fantastic food, friendly people, walking distance to everything in town and a living Atlantic ocean with many faces – this place own 90% of my heart. Love all seasons there. Been coming there since 1976, but my last visit was in 2008. Not because I’m not longing, because it’s so difficult to get there from Sweden. (September 2008)

Amy, my pleasure to play with you girls. *smile – It was a very grey and misty day … just like Ireland most of the time are. Yes the little video is brilliant, so glad I found it.
I love this image. 💗
Oh my Viveka – you have captured some amazing vistas in this one. Your exploits around the world have provided you with an incredible archive ! I love all of these but the image of the winding road in Spain is my favorite this week
My friend only drive it in one direction (motorway the other direction … but so boring), it takes a lot of concentration to drive it – stunning views, the ocean, beaches and the mountains. My favorite too.

Great shots. I like the man on the rocks. Man’s smallness compared to Nature.
Thanks, John … I didn’t see him until I came home and check out my captures. I like your way of thinking, so true.
