“Lighthouses don’t get all wobbly when the weather gets rough;
they just stand there shining.”
Unkown

View from Kullens Fyr (Kullen Lighthouse), Kullen is the oldest lighthouse location in Scandinavia founded 1561 by the Danish king Fredrik II  …this lighthouse was a “Parrot lighthouse” with an iron casket 20 feet above the ground. It’ is an operational lighthouse in Scania, located by the mouth of Öresund, at the point of Kullaberg peninsula, in Höganäs, on the south-west coast of Sweden.

Kullen is one of the most prominent landmarks along the Swedish coastline, and with its 1000 Watt electric bulb in a huge lens-house, also the most powerful lighthouse in Scandinavia, overlooking one of the world’s most heavily travelled waters. (August 2018)

“I, Kusama, am the modern Alice in Wonderland.”
Yayoi Kusama

Th ‘Mirror Room’ (Pumpkin) Installations by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusamaat at The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebæk, Denmark. An absolute wired and wonderful artist, 90 years old and still active. We had to look through a little square. You can me in the middle of the image – October 2015.

“Dubai, with all of its glitz and glamour
rose in the heart of the desert.”
Soroosh Shahrivar

With light shows like is there no fireworks are needed … and a lot of money will be saved that can be spent on more needed things. One of the most impressive light shows I ever have seen. Starts 6pm to 11pm and twice per hour, but no pattern is used more than once. Wasn’t impressed with Burj Khalifa in daylight, more than it’s a very high building. But in the evening …. priceless. This is a spectacular view.

The Burj Khalifa, known as the Burj Dubai prior to its inauguration in 2010. With a total height of 829.8 m and a roof height of 828 m, the Burj Khalifa has been the tallest structure and building in the world since its topping out in 2009. (March 2019)
