lens artists photo challenge #47 – the five elements

Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth????!!! Learned something new today, that these five elements are based on the Chinese theory of the composition of the world. We learn something new every day. Magical.

This stock I met at Teufelsberg, which is a man-made hill, created in the 20 years following the Second World War by moving approximately 75,000,000 m3. The US National Security Agency (NSA) built one of its largest listening stations atop the hill, rumoured to be part of the global ECHELON intelligence gathering network. “The Hill” in 1961. Today is it an open-air graffiti gallery.

Shiraito Falls is a waterfall in Fujinomiya, near Mount Fuji. It is part of Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park and has been protected since 1936 as a Japanese Natural Monument. The falls were regarded as sacred under the Fuji cult – April 2015

Dos Brains produce and distribute music for motion picture and video game advertising, aka TRAILER MUSIC. They are based in Los Angeles. This is one of the tracks from their album “Elements” – The Last Haven – of german-based composer Dirk Ehlert feature the Spanish singer, Celica Soldream. A very powerful piece of music. But this weeks subject is very powerful.
