a photo a week challenge – raindrops

Been away on my yearly Ireland and Scotland tour … trying to catch up with all the missed challenges!

Raindrops are one of my many favourite objects and my camera (Oscar) loves them too. So I have so many to share and choose from. Here is from some.

“The single raindrop never feels responsible for the flood.”
Douglas Adams

Visited Japan in April 2015 …. and it rained and rained. This image is from our extremely wet shrine and temple tour in Kyoto.

“Some people feel the rain. Others just get wet.”
Bob Marley

A wet waiting at our train station here in Landskrona, Sweden – November 2014

“Flowers are never lonely when they have raindrops as friends.”
Anthony T. Hincks

This image is only a couple of days old, captured when good friends of mine toke me to lunch at beautiful Cameron Landscapes & Garden Centre in Belfast. A wet beauty, a Camellia.

“When the raindrop touches the ocean, can it tell a story.”
Mooji

It rains strangely in Las Vegas too … this is the rail at the casino entrance at Ceasar Palace – September 2014

“Raindrops are like fairy whispers.”
Unknown

The beautiful medieval city of Bruges has wet moments, but still offers interesting details to put the camera against – September 2017

For this challenge, so I have the chance to use again one of my absolute favourite tracks “Kiss the Rain” by  Lee Ru-ma, better known by his stage name Yiruma, a South Korean-British pianist and composer, born in 1978. This is the rain mood version.
