Anything can be turned into art, I think. Somebody has said “It is all in the viewer’s eyes” and how true isn’t that. Every piece of art has a story to tell … mostly about the artist behind it.
“Train for Thoughts” (2015-2017). A Swedish a railroad car moved into the woods of Wanås Castle, first painted white and then filled with black circles creating an organic web over the whole surface.. turned into a beautiful piece of art by Carolina Falkholt, born in Gothenburg 1977 – goes also under the pseudonym Blue.
“We tell ourselves stories in order to live.”

Chris, thank you …. so much and I wish you a pleasant weekend. *smile
Loved that train…nearly missed out on it when we were there. It still looks nice and makes its own story.
Yes, it was fantastic standing hidden in the forest. We have to do a new visit in July this year???? What a magical place.
Yes, we have to visit – every year.
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It blends in nicely with its environment. To take something old and renew it, is pure genius. ❤
We nearly missed because it was hidden down a narrow path – stunningly beautiful … and in with all the trees and sunshine. We just fell in love with. What a job … marvelous.
🙂
Love that train- don’t remember seeing it when we were at Wanås……
No it was hidden out in the forest on a path away from the castle – we nearly missed!!! Lucky we didn’t! Absolutely beautiful.
Oh, OK…I wouldn’t have managed it, then!
Probably not, but we didn’t know it was there.
It’s almost like it’s wearing lace gloves, Vivi. Very beautiful 🙂 🙂
Yes, truly beautiful … and we nearly missed it – so well hidden away in the forest. What a job to paint this. SundayWetHug!
In Knaresborough having a jaunt out. Almost sunny and there are crocuses xx
How lovely …. winter aconite bloomed here before “the winter” arrived – I hope they have survived – but crocuses – I will say another 4 weeks. Enjoy your sunshine.
Heading for Leeds. Quick Mothers Day visit to James. Full of jam and cream scone hug xx
Okay, it’s Mothers day over there … for us, it’s in May. I hope you had a good one. DinnerHug.
