Over Easter am I going to enjoy all the tulips in and around in Amsterdam. *smile
I like Amsterdam. To bad that the rain was heavy on our free day from the tour. We took the trolley to Van Gogh Museum! We visited Anne Frank’s hideout, and the red light district. We went into a pot store. I saw a pot of plant, I told my husband it was pretty. He said it was pot!!! 🙂
I hope that we will be lucky with the weather and that all the tulips at Keukenhof Park, 7 million bulbs .. will be out. Tell your husband that we can have plants in anything today. *smile – my grandma had plants in a the old pot and that was 50 years ago. I been in Amsterdam before, but never in the spring. So looking forward to it.
Then you know that the bikers has more right of way than the drivers.♥*♥*♥
Yes, Denmark the bikers are great – but here in Sweden … they don’t follow the traffic rules .. they make their own as they go along.
Wow….. I almost got hit by a biker in Amsterdam when I got of the tour bus, before I knew to let them go first!
Amsterdam, yes …. that is the biker’s capital .. Holland has most bikes per capita in the world. Trams and bikes you have to keep on eye on in Holland.
I finally figured that out!
Lots of delicious leftovers! Hope you’re feeling less blue, Vivi 🙂 Happy weekend!
I’ve always thought that Budapest would be an interesting place to visit but the language is very difficult. I used to sing in a German choir with a Hungarian conductor and every once in awhile he’d have us sing a Hungarian song. So hard! Do many people speak English?
Gorgeous photos, Viveka, but the cardboard images on the balcony is most interesting!
Thank you. Loisa …. they are fun .. just behind my hotel around the whole little square. Loads of quirky things in Budapest.
Thanks for pointing that out. I completely missed it. It certainly makes for an interesting conversation.
Aren’t these wonderful! I had to look twice to be sure they weren’t real!
Yes, so did I … very clever!
A splendid round up, as always. Greetings from Potato Point – I’ve been home 13 hours, and should not be awake!
Oh, bless you, Meg! Glad you’ve arrived. Sleep tight 🙂
Meg, thank you so much … glad that you are safely home and that the flights went well. You will fall to sleep .. don’t worry.
Great photos capturing your trip!
Thank you so much!!!!
You’re welcome! Where are you going next?

Yes, I was surprised how many that speak English … all ages and they speak good English too. Even the man on the street.
