This was the second time I jumped on a great offer this year and came out as a winner, first time was for my Istanbul visit in end of June with Hotel Aybar and now in Warsaw with Hampton by Hilton, both hotels to a fantastic rate and providing comfortable stays, spot on location, outstanding service, quality, free WiFi and great breakfast.

I got my fantastic offer through Expedia.com, not a website that I use that often. It was the hotel search engine, trivago.com that found the offer for me. For 5 nights in total with breakfast and free WiFi I payed 2060SEK/€218/$240/£155.
I arrived to the hotel just after 11am and even if the check in time wasn’t until 2pm – I got my room straight away. Fantastic!!! And the check out time is not until noon, with possibility of late check out.
The hotel have a partnership with ONE taxi company, very good service and there was always taxi available outside the entrance. Great drivers, clean cars and serious company, when I used them the driver was speaking good English.
Room 709 and what a fantastic room. Bright and modern with a queen size bed, desk, comfortable working chair, armchair, tea/coffee boiler, safe and a big bathroom with good very lightning, big walk in shower and plenty space of all the private toiletry. The room also provided iron and iron board.
The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant as such, but the bar 24/7, have a nice little menu with snacks, light meals and main dishes. What I saw the presentation of the food very good and the plates was empty when left on the tables. By the way the bar does great a Mojioto.
There is also a conference room/business center with PC’s and printers free of charge. Great for online check in and printing of boarding card.
Breakfast a very pleasant surprise. Plentiful with different fresh fruits, warm and cold buffet, great fresh bread choice and very fresh salad items; lettuce, cucumber and tomatoes with choice of great dressing – and the possibility to make waffles. I didn’t make any, because there was always such queue to the station.
The location of the hotel perfect, just minutes walk to the big shopping center Zlote Tarasy and the Warszawa Centralna (central station) with connection bus station; Dworzec Autobusowy, plus trams and metro.
Even if the hotel is located in the city center as such, was it on a very quite neighborhood. There was a hospital nearby, but the emergency services didn’t keep me awake at night and I slept with open window.
There is small nice restaurants on the small streets beside the hotel, an express Carrefour continent store around the corner and post office in short walking distance.
Hard to find any minuses and cons with this hotel, but if there is something to complain about is it that out of the 40 TV channels there wasn’t there any that wasn’t English spoken expect the 5 new channels. It would have been nice if there would have been an English language movie channel. No payable channels on offer neither.
But that is just a small thing – considering all the things that is truly right with this hotel.
Going to visit Warsaw again in June next year together with a blogging sister, Sue from London, if everything goes to plan and I hope that Hampton by Hilton will be on offer again then, because it will be hard to find a more suitable hotel.
“My hotel room has a great view.
The view is right in front of the TV.”
