“step up so others won’t get stepped on”

wrinkled paper - wallconvert com

“A teacher in New York was teaching her class about bullying. She gave the children a piece of paper and told them to crumple, jump on it, but do not tear off the paper. Then she told them to unfold their paper, straighten them and see how scarred and dirty they had become.

Then she told them to say sorry to the paper. Now even though they said sorry and tried to fix the paper, she pointed out all the scars they left. And the scars will never go away however much they try to fix it. Then she told me that this is what happens when someone bullies another child, they may say they’re sorry but the scars remain forever.”

Bullying is one of those things that we really can do something about – we can interfere when we see it happens. It happens at school, workplaces, homes, online, nightclubs & bars, shops … and it happens to both sexes and all ages. If we don’t want to interfere personal – is it just to report or use our smart phone.

Please, never ignore it when it happens!!!!

    • I hope I have a good heart, but my mum taught to stand up for the ones that wasn’t that strong and I have always done that and I’m not afraid to interfere if I have to.
Once a man told me that I should be careful so he wouldn’t hit – but I told him if he hit me it would be the last thing he will ever done – and he left the tram.

  1. A post that I totally agree with, having been bullied at school I know what it feels like…. the pleasure I had though was when I finished school I’d grown in size and met up with those that bullied me…. I took my revenge and enjoyed every minute of it… to see them grovel and bleed was a pleasure…

    • Good for you, Rob ….. I was a bit bullied by our neighbors oldest son, but it’s wasn’t bad – bad, but it made me cry at times. It wasn’t all the time .. later on we became boyfriend & girlfriend. He crashed with his car and died at 21. Terrible unfair.
Bullying is one of the easiest thing we can do something about when it happens. Just interfere or report.

  2. I was in Greece in 1985 and I remember the horrendous traffic and black air pollution and oh yes the men! A hard country for a young girl to travel herself, Great post!
