• When women are depressed they either eat or go shopping. When men are depressed, they invade another country.
• A man is a person who will pay £2 for a £1 item he wants. A woman, however, will pay £1 for a £2 item that she doesn’t want.
• Women have more imagination than men. They need it to tell men how wonderful they are.
• Women have a number of faults. Men have only two – everything they say and everything they do.
• A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend. A successful woman is one who can find such a man.
• Men wake up as good-looking as they went to bed. Women somehow deteriorate during the night.
• Diamonds are a girl’s best friend. Dogs are a man’s best friend. Now you know which sex is smarter.
• It’s not true that men prefer foolish women. Rather they prefer women who can pretend to be foolish whenever necessary, which is the very core of intelligence.
• Men always want to be a woman’s first love. Women have a more subtle instinct: What they like is to be a man’s last romance.
• Men marry because they are tired; women marry because they are curious. Both are disappointed.
• A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband, while a man never worries about the future until he gets a wife.
• A woman will always cherish the memory of the man who wanted to marry her; a man will always cherish the memory of the woman who he didn’t.
• There are two times when a man doesn’t understand a woman – before marriage and after marriage.
• Any married man should forget his mistakes – it’s no use two people remembering the same thing.
• Some husbands are living proof that a woman can take a joke.
• Husbands are like cars: all are good the first year.
• A woman has the last word in any argument. Anything a man says after that is the beginning of a new argument.
• To be happy with a man, a woman must understand him a lot and love him a little. To be happy with a woman, a man must love her a lot and not try to understand her at all.
• A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn’t. A man marries a woman expecting that she won’t change and she does.
• Only two things are necessary for a man to do to keep his wife happy. One is to let her think she is having her own way, and the other is to let her have it.
• Married men live longer than single men, but married men are a lot more willing to die.

Oh, Vivi! I love it, but it’s SO naughty (and true 🙂 ) Glad that you could sit long enough to put this together and make us smile.
Did you see the news about Anita Mac, the blogger, who killed herself for love (or lack of) this last week? So tragic! Everything reminds me of it- I’m sorry.
Jo, this is a draft that I had sitting for months *smile – I’m afraid that new posts are out of the question for the moment.
No, that was news to me about Anita Mac, how tragic – especially for a reason like the lack of love.
I had a girlfriend many many years ago the killed herself over a broken heart, but I think there was more to it.
I think that there is always somebody out there that loves us – if not we have to be very lonely and loneliness is often a reason for suicide. Anyhow it’s so tragic that somebody has to feel so lonely that death is only the only way out.
I should have known you’d be an organised girl! Thought it was too good to be true 🙂 Take care then m’dear. Hoping for better news soon.
Thanks to Kathryn for the comment. I saw the news on Marianne (East of Malaga)’s blog last night. A girl with so much going for her. But not in her heart. Truly sad.
I’m sure they will find out what is causing the problem .. only what year it will happen *laughing.
Not at all organised, only that I did loads of post with jokes while I was alone in mom’s flat .. so I have some posts to keep me alive here. Only miss the visiting of my friends worlds.
Our worlds will still be here when you’re raring to go again. More hugs 🙂
Jo, just visit you last post … what a delightful post – and those photos … extra ordinary. *smile
My evening became very nice …
And now you have to walk about a bit (smiling 🙂 ) Thanks so much Vivi. Thinking warm thoughts.
I have been walking the whole afternoon in the laundry room. That is probably why my ass is behaving. *smile
Enjoy hairdressers. I have Polish family to entertain for the next few days but I’ll still be about. 🙂
And you enjoy your family visit … I will be around too.
Hi Jo and Viveka, Great post that did make me chuckle which we all need especially now. I’ve chatted with Anita over our blogs (mainly my personal blog) for quite a while now and the news was such a shock. I think it will be on all our minds for some time.
Kathryn, it’s so tragic and I’m shocked too … never been visiting her blog – to be feeling so lonely like she did – how terrible. I read her last post … broken heart, so hard grip that a young woman will finish her life, maybe her travelling was a way to escape the world she felt so trapped in.
Ohh, you have made me laugh so much! Such a smart post for smart men and women! And the music fits so perfectly. Well, all music you share in your posts are fantastic, thanks for transporting us to the best musical dimension!
Wow, thank you so much for this comment …. you truly made my day with it – music is such important ingredients in my every day and I have always forced my surrounding to listen to it *smile – thanks again for the visit and for your wonderful comment.
Welcome back.
Viveka I love your humor! I hope today is a bit better for you!
Yes, got some pain today … but my head is a bit soggy and that helps.
You know me, Colleen – I never stay under the ice very long, but this post has been a draft for a couple of months. Nothing new under the sun yet. *smile
Well you picked a good day to use it. Hope you get some answers, or the direction to go in, very very soon!
Talked to the day clinic today and the doctor will contact me so soon she has got the answer from the doctor yesterday and then we have to see what the next step will be. Haven’t been too bad today, but I haven’t been sitting that much. Try not to.
I hope they figure something out! That flight to NYC will awfully difficult if they don’t figure it out!
I will stuff myself with lucky pills and even if will have an ass on fire – I will be feeling great *smile
Thata girl Viveka! 🙂 I know you will have a great time! You and your hot ass! 🙂
love the song … one of my all time favourites
It’s brilliant isn’t it … love the musical too. So funny.
Oh Vivi, you said it all in one post. This was excellent. How are you feeling today my friend?
Terry, today I’m much better … like night and day – and I have been on my feet most of the day .. so not so much sitting down. And that makes a huge difference – and my mental status is nearly on top mark today .. still a bit upset about yesterday.
Thanks for asking. Terry.
I have a gift for you Vivi
Terry …. a gift ????!!!! Thank you so much.
You always come up with fun ways to make us smile…thank you!
Karen, thank you …. it makes me cheerful too.
Glad to see you are doing a bit better today, dear Viveka.

Get well and take care co 🙂
Thank you, Dia!!!
Oh come on … what did we do?
Frank, nothing …. but it’s not all about you, guys … don’t take credit for everything. *smile
🙂
These are so funny. I wonder if my husband would think so…
Heather, ask him …. *smile … I think some men will agree. Have a great weekend now.
hahahaha 😀
Great stuff! I can’t believe I am going to follow another Blog but how can I NOT????
Thanks for the kind comment … and for staying in my world. *smile
Ha ha, Never tire of these Viveka! Happy to hear your ass is behaving 🙂
Yes, my ass behaving .. okay at times, but not long enough. But it’s what it’s. Hopefully they will find out and I can get help. I’m afraid that I damaged a nerve … maybe. Not fun .. have enough problems that I have to live with. *smile
