The Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge – From Above

My entry here is nothing spectacular or the most interesting photo I have taken, but I don’t have many photos from above, because I’m so scared of heights – and it’s getting worse the older I get.

Those umbrellas belong to Park Grill in Millennium Park, Chicago – one of my favorite parks in the world. Visited Chicago last summer in July, and it was one of the hottest holidays I ever been on … in more than one way. It was red hot!

Park Grill is a fantastic oasis in a warm summer city … okay food – and al fresco dinning from lunch and onward – have done a little review about it …. fish tacos and beethoven. Chicago is my favorite city in the whole world and I have been to a few. It has everything for my senses.

    • Great … neither do I … but sun brollies is a good sign. I like the simple photo too – not much artistic thinking behind it, but it’s colorful and happy. Thanks.

    • Uru, thanks a million *smile … I loved those umbrellas too. I didn’t know that I had a panoramic setting on my camera then – otherwise there would have had been an ocean of colorful umbrellas .. they 100 of them.

    • This brings me back to Chicago … and a lovely breeze while eating and a little later some classical free concert in the Park.
      You would love, Chicago …
