my april 2013

pond beauty

Now when the A-Z is put the rest until next year – first of all would I like to thank you all for your support, comments and cheering! Without you it would be a lot of work for nothing. *laughing ¨

During April there has been a lot more than bringing Sweden out to you by ABC .. it has been back and forward to hospitals, walks, laughter, dinner parties, pains, wine and infections plus a nature in big changes. What we haven’t had much of is rain. Even if I haven’t posted anything of my month, my little camera haven’t resting and here comes a gallery of photos from my full month of April.

Our spring has been very slow in development this year, we had a very sunny month, but it has been very cold and very windy. The nature had a rough and tough spring journey this year , but now it’s here … and I LOVE it!

  1. Beautiful photographs dear Viveka. You are an inspiration to me, in so many ways. I hate that your medication had to feature so much in your month of April… I guess it’s a necessary evil but I don’t like that it signifies that you’ve been in pain. I’ve been thinking of you daily. Wish I lived closer xx

    • Thanks a million for your kind words … they landed straight in my software. I have a rough couple of days now – because it’s back and forward to different hospitals and it brings me down – not because I’m in pain as such.
Only take antibiotics now .. only 3 days left on them.
      You’re so kind.

  2. You always find the best colors! 🙂 And I see a bike (I will pretend that was just for me 🙂 ). We had a sunny day here ourselves. Just finished a bike ride. And on a work day! 🙂

    • Same to you Cindy … I don’t know what has happen here with your posts – don’t get them .. *smile – have to check up my … set ups. Thanks for supporting me and you lovely words about my photo gallery.

    • Thank you very much … and thanks for supporting me .. and cheering me on. Would be terrible without any response and support. Now I have a full year to .. think out new subjects. I have learned so much myself during this month.

  3. I love the look of your spring.. slow in coming yet never leaving the beauty behind… your photos show such lovely colours emerging and man I love the wine bottles and cigarette butts… my kind of spring…

    • I hope you don’t throw your buds in somebody else’s border *smile Wine are more than okay, but cigarettes have I never fancied.
Thank for your support … and your always so kind words.

    • Terrible that people have to throw their cigarettes ends into the borders of a hospital. But a part of my April.
      Thank you so much, Helen.

    • Tina, thank you so much …. yes, I have been on a rough and tough journey through cancer .. and the side effects and check ups are bringing me down at times.
I write about my demons sometimes, but not very often .. need them out from the system a couple of time per year.
Thanks for your support – and many years ago when I had my beautiful EOS that was eating film – I took stunning photos – my little one I have only worked hard during the last year, when I started blogging – but it had a hard time … since then. Your support means a lot to me.

  4. For someone on a difficult journey, your also serve as an example for seeing the best of what life offers. 😀 … Meanwhile, my favorite pics in the collage are knife, the old water towers, dramatic spring sky, and steak & onion.

    • Thanks Frank, for taking the time and give feedback on the photos – I quite like the knife too … flowers are easy and thankful object they always comes out pretty … so it is nice that you didn’t chose one of them – the feather in the bush is mine .. love the sheerness of it.

  5. Ohhhhhhh, Pat Boone, haven’t heard this song in ages, how perfectly it fits. Love your collage. Congrats on completing the challenge.

    • Sandy, thank you so much …. I haven’t heard the tune for age neither … thanks for visiting and for commenting – welcome back any time. *smile

  6. True beauty and the water tower are my favourites.
You remain so cheerful, Viveka, in spite of the health ups and downs. Here’s to a much healthier May for you. (oh, just remembered I didn’t say “white rabbit” this morning! A silly English custom my mother used always to do for luck) 🙂

    • Thanks, Jo … you know to moan doesn’t help … I had a bad couple of days now .. because I been to so many check up’s over and done with now. 6 months to next turn. But it gets at me.
Of course are we going to have a fantastic May … ALL of US!

  7. A stunning spring gallery Viveka! So fresh and colourful! I love the reflections on the knife and the flower and food shots, and the water tower….too many to list actually 🙂 Congratulations on a successful A-Z project. Off to catch up with the ones I missed 🙂

    • Madhu, thank you so much ….. I like that photo too, would have like to go closer, but the camera didn’t allow me. *smile
Can see you have really worked your way through the challenge, thank you so much for your support.

    • Thank you so much … for your support and kind words – it’s my pleasure and I love working with my posts …
I love the tune too …

  8. Love that song, Viveka. I haven’t heard it in ages. 🙂 Lovely signs of Spring in your photos. Those cigarette butts are disgusting. 😦 So sorry about the pain and hospitals. Hope you’re feeling good today. *hugs*

    • Yes, they are truly disgusting …. and they just through them around the hospital .. in their borders.
Love this tune … and the spring is here, but still no heat.
Hospital is a part of my life … one day the bother me .. the next they don’t. Thanks for your kind words.

  9. Lovely images of spring! Wishing you improvements in your health and many more up days than down days.
I’ve been going through health issues myself for the last few years, and nature and photography have been therapeutic through the struggles and roller coaster rides.

    • Thank you so much for your support …. yes, camera get me on other thoughts – problem is that I’m not able to walk so much as I would love to. Yes, I have 92% good years, so really I’m doing fine. But when the problems increase – it gets really bad. Sad to read that you have your struggle too and I’m glad that you have found your ways to ease it.
