Have got a new Swedish blogging sister (3 total now + 1 follow), Ann-Sofie a couple of weeks ago – came across her world here by accident and we have really clicked.
She lives in Smedjebacken, a little pretty community in beautiful county Dalarna, where it lives about 5.300 people. About 2 hours’ drive from Stockholm and about 8-9 hours from where I’m. She like so many other Swedes is without a job, massive problem in Sweden like anywhere else. She loves her cats, her husband, her garden, her blogs and her make-up, not particular in this order *smile
She has two blogs in Swedish only, but her English are outstanding. She have only been abroad on holiday once in her life, so there is big differences in our life styles – but still we have already become good friends.
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is Ann-Sofie@Mellan Himmel och Jord (between heaven and earth) and “Color It”, the last she are thinking of doing in both Swedish and English. Good on her!
She introduced me to something called “Glossybox”- the latest makeup samples and perfume samples – some products are in full size. Glossybox is available all over the world; US, UK, Canada, Germany, France …. For a set price do you receive a box per month – in Sweden in cost me 140.00SEK/£13.00/$21.50/€16.35 per month, plus you get a beauty tip magazine weekly by email. Haven’t got my first box yet, but that was the reason why I met Ann-Sofie. Will come back to “Glossybox” when I have received my first box.
I love my dance music as you all know – and a week ago she posted a track that clicked with me big time. Couldn’t buy the track over Itune, when it’s about my music I have both feet inside the law, when it’s a about movies is it a total different matter – not going into that just now.
But I found the track on “mp3skull” and with free download – also I found it on “Soundcloud” strangely enough. Have been playing it daily ever since. Great dance tune – never heard about the track until Ann-Sofie posted her YouTube video. The track has the longest tittle I ever seen “Lloyd – Dedication To My Ex (Miss That) (feat. Andre 3000 & narrated by Lil Wayne)”
First I thought it was a remake of an oldie, but its only from 2011. How could I have missed it, maybe I losing my music touch. The song got a 3× Platinum record in Australia and Gold in Denmark. And were number 3 in UK on the chart, but before release in UK – the song was edited for radio in the United Kingdom (among other places), replacing the word “pussy” with “lovin’” (so maybe it’s naughty after all) and with my normal healthy naughty imagination – it sounds very naughty, but Sir Tom Jones are singing about a “Pussycat” too. So I take the risk, because I just love the rhythm in the track. Great for Zumba moves too. My poor neighbors.
The song is about a girl Lloyd had an affair with during a holiday.
“(i miss that pu$$y, that pu$$y, that pu$$y)
oooh nooo
yeah yeah yeah yeh
she, she used to be a really special lady
i guess she’s feeling kinda freaky lately
it’s such a shame cause now the pu$$y’s changed
(pu$$y changed)
she used to squeeze me
grip me tight so she can please me
but now-now, that pu$$y changed”
Because Llody are singing about a cat *laughing – I will post some cat photos I have been taken … so there is a theme and bring some kind of meaning with this post. One of day when I came home from one of my checkups – this cat were just sitting by our back entrance and it sat there for ages without moving an inch – took so many photos and it was just staring at me without one little move and in the end it just had enough and left.
The brown and black cat, is Doris – my friends cat and she is absolutely adorable.
“No matter how much cats fight,
there always seems to be plenty of kittens.”

Naaaw Viveka, you’re soooo sweet! Thank’s so much for your kind and beautiful words about me and my life. You’ve made a really good summary about me and my life I think!! I want you to know that I feel really honored about this! Wow! Can I repost this on my facebook? (I have thought about writing my make-up blog in both english and swedish, I think this could generate more readers) Again, many thank’s for this post! Lots of hugs/Your friend Ann-Sofie
Ann-Sofie – you can do whatever you want to do .. with it. I think it’s a great idea with doing it both languages. Good luck to you!!!
The pleasure is mine.

Yes, don’t have that many Swedish bloggers in my wordpress world. Great …
Viveka, I am sitting here dancing in my chair…. I love the music! Skip is laughing at me… but, that music is good! I loved your post… I’m going to visit Ann-Sofie now! Love, Gloria/Granny Gee
)))))))) That music is good! Skip loves it! He wants to take a photo of me dancing here…..
Gloria, brilliant … I love that song too – the whole week I been playing it more or less none stop. Let Skip take a photo of you and do a post about your dancing. We should do more dancing at home … it will make us feel good and feel younger. Thanks for the nice replay.
Ha! I don’t have the nerve to do that!
)) You are right, we really should. I remember as a young girl I told my mom that I’d never stop dancing… I can’t believe that I did.
Gloria, of course you can do … that. !!! We are never too old for a good laugh.
Ha! Ha!
I am glad that you have found another nice connection through your blogging. I went to her blog site, but it was all in Swedish, and of course I could not read it. LOL. She is a beautiful person, just like you
Terry, I pointed out that her blogs are in Swedish – but maybe easy to miss – she are thinking of doing one of them in both language.
yes, i saw that, but i was hoping maybe they would be in translation, but thank u for mentioning your new friend
Okay … at least it wasn’t unclear. Thanks for your kind words about me as a person.
Great music, dear Viveka! Shaking on my sofa
Have a wonderful weekend
Glossybox, yessssss! I have it, too! I love it. I have it for almost one year now and the new Glossybox is due next week (I hope). There’s always something good inside. Sometimes I don’t like all products/samples, but it’s still nice to get a package once a month. And I always wait till Friday evening, when I come home from work – opening a Glossybox is always a good start into the weekend! – Enjoy your new Glossybox. Post a photo, once you get yours, ok?
Your music came on as I was walking away for a little chocolate and I thought.. “What the.. h343?” and laughed my head off.. Way to go, Viveka, a new friend and a cool new song too!! xx
I had the same thought when I heard it the first time – sometimes we just have be adult about things …. and after all it’s a song about a girl and a cat.
I try every day to be an adult
It was a cute song!!
You’re so funny … cute song *laughing. Not easy to act like an adult at all times.
I would like to say to all of you that I have decided to write my blogs in english and swedish from now on. So I hope that you’ll follow me now. I would be so glad if you did!
I have already been visiting you … and replayed. Great done and your English are very good. Good luck.
How beautiful lady you are, I love to visit and to read your posts… Thank you, love, nia
Thank you so much, Nia. It’s mutual
