Couple of days with mum again – had go with her to the eye doctor on Friday – it has been real autumn for days now, windy-wet-unpleasant – the sun was out when I left Landskrona on Thursday. Couldn’t make up my mind if I should go for a new color mission or if I should chase the autumn, I decided to go for the last option.

Between the train and bus was it only 2 minutes in Lund and I made it … when leaving my mum last time one of the farms had built a train of the straw bales on the field and I missed it with 20 seconds when the bus passed, I hoped it was still there on Thursday – but the farmer had now move everything up to barn. What a pity – it was so cool. Manage to get a photo of all the bales and the farm.

In Landskrona along my path it showed that it had been heavily raining earlier –rain puddles and drops. The ship yard starts to get a build up with all the boats and yachts for their winter rest.

There were no wild flowers in sight except a little blue one, but I didn’t manage to get a good shot – but I met some beautiful weed that was willing to smile for the camera.

Outside my mum’s house I found a rose bud and a hollyhock’s bud, the last of Summer 2012.

Who are Williams Arne ???????
William Arne, died 92 years old in 2006 – a lorry driver that was playing with death – his parent were circus artists and well known in equestrian dressage, and in age of 19 he started to practice his deadly act. 2 years later he did his first performance ; to ride a motorbike inside a big velodrome, 10 mtr in diameter. This was in 1925. He travelled around the country with his motor circus until he became 65 and the last years he did it in his specially built little car.

Thanks Terry, I like the drops too.
This was a great post, Viveka
I LOVED the photos – and do you know, I reckon that grey one of puddles on grey concrete is the best. I mean, I love the Autumn colours, but that almost silhouette-like grey wet, reflective dreaminess – I REALLY like it.
William Arne is awesome!!! What THE?! Fancy being able to do that in 1925, let alone today. Amazing. That was really interesting.
Re your mum & the eye doctor – I think it’s gorgeous, beautiful you help her, & you have a relationship. Just lovely.
thank you so much .. I love the autumn with all its richness.
My mum and I aren’t really that close .. she was never around when I was a child and I wasn’t around when she started to get all – we are really good friends … and of course should I be there for her now. She are the only one left for me of our family. She became 90 in July.
The name is from our local trains – every train has a name from a famous person (alive, fiction or dead) from our country. So I introduce the name of the train I been travelled on to mum.
Viveka, what gorgeous pictures. Fall, particularly when there’s a light rain falling outside my window and a candle flickering, makes my soul happy.
Susan, it has been raining here too … and that means one thing for me – a cold .. always the same when I get wet feet in the autumn. Love the rain … warm and cozy inside – been in bed with fever 2 days. Thank you so much for your support.
I hope you’re feeling better. I just had a flu shot so hoping it will keep the bugs at bay.
I just love those autumn colors!! Beautiful photos!
Thanks Malin,!!!!
Nat King Cole – now there’s a voice I could listen to all day
Yes, so could … I – wonderful voice.
