anytime at all

I wonder how many really are familiar with this track … ???? It was released in 1965 and now this will be my “cloud of music” hanging over my blog for a while.

My “dad” and I danced to it at least one evening a week, I was 17 then. My “dad” was a fantastic dancer. We had it on vinyl and we played and played and played it. Mum hated it, wonder why ???? “i’m a bit of a disco animal …. still” - my post about my dancing.

It’s probably the first English song lyrics that I knew to heart - there isn’t that many words.

“SoundCloud” don’t let you use copyright music, but sometimes somebody manage to get original music posted, like with Edith and The Piano Guys. So I’m not sure if this really is Frank that’s singing … very unclear. Have compared to my download on ITune and I think it’s a cover. If so – this guy here are doing a fantastic good job, what a voice. Who cares – this is a brilliant track and the voice is good! So happy I’m able to share it with you. Start dancing, folks …. grab the dog if nobody else around, even if the weekend is gone .. and it’s Monday soon.

“Anytime, anytime you want me,
honey, just let me know.
When you need affection,
and you’re looking for somewhere to go,

I’ll be home, ’round the house just waiting,
waiting for your call.
I mean anytime you want me, anytime at all.
Don’t be ashamed to let me know you love me,
that’s such a silly thing to do,
‘Cause anytime, you call me, baby,
I’ll come running straight to you.”

I’ll be there beside you even if I have to crawl,
Anytime you want me, I’m saying, anytime at all.
I’ll be there beside you even if I have to crawl
Anytime you want me, I mean, anytime at all.”

  1. Good selection! Not Sinatra but a good voice. I listen to Siriously Sinatra all the time on XM Radio. I am also a huge Michael Buble fan. I could listen to the old standards and big band music all day, every day and never get sick of it.

    • Bliss, same with me – love that big band … sound. No, I don’t think it’s Frankie – but the guy has a great voice … even if Frank to sound like Frank on his own recording neither.
